Just a snack

This past weekend, on Saturday to be exact, I went with Jayson to this Restaurant in the East Coast of Puerto Rico called Calizo. We were craving some authentic islandy (is that a word?? hahaha) food, so we bought "arepas" filled with chicken salad.... Can i say HEAVEN!! It was really tasteful and fresh. Talking about food makes me hungry, I may go again today haha! So if you live in the area or in Puerto Rico on your free time pass by the Restaurant or their little shack, the food is worth it.

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Jayson, always with he's funny faces.

Color of Shadows

This is my second outfit post!!! Yeah =D

For this outfit I was inspired by one of my favorite skirts from F21. This tribal blue, black and purple skirt is a purchase I did a while ago; is a cute item of clothing that allows me to give a simple look a more spontaneous and colorful style. I'm a big fan a print, and Idian/Boho/Feathery anything is really in this season! I kept it simple with the rest of the outfit, I paired it with my black top, endless navy blue scarf and  my big & blod jewelery.

Below you will see the photos!!

Hope you love it!!

Sail away

So my birthday is coming up pretty soon (on October 22nd). And I've been thinking for a few weeks now what I am going to do.  This year, for my 23 + 1 birthday, for some reason I just want to do something different!  I already asked for my days off at work for that week, because I want to give myself a vacation as a gift haha. But the funny thing is that I asked for it without knowing to where or when I was leaving!

A lot of places have been on my mind: NYC, Las Vegas, Cancun, LA and Canada. But my boyfriend suggested to go on a 7day cruise. At first I wasn't excited at ALL, for some weird reason that idea wasn't meeting my expectations. But now, it's a different story. He found one leaving from Florida that takes you to The Coast of Mexico, Belize & Honduras. I've been to Mexico before, but never to its beautiful coast line /beaches! I'm sooo excited now!!! And this will also be my first cruise EVER** Yeah!! Traveling is one of my passions, I  absolutely LOVE going to new places, (I think everyone does!) obviously with my camera on hand.

I'm leaving in just a few days now, I prefer saying days instead of weeks because in that way time goes faster! (I think the cruise leaves on October 14 / 15). For me one of the best moments on going on a vacation is the packing process, I just love it!! I have already picked up some pieces I want to pack! (and yes, I'm that excited / anxious!)

Please cross your fingers in the name of good weather!!

I want to buy some stuff before leaving, but I will show you my bday wish list in a few days!

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Until next post*

The best road in life, is the one you love to ride!

This is a collage of photographs taken on my 4 day, extended to a 7 day vacations (Thanks to Hurricane Irene!) over at Orlando, Florida on the past month of August. Jayson (boyfriend) and I basically spent the time relaxing watching tv (which we NEVER get to do), went to the most delicious desert place on Dowtown Orlando called the The Dessert Lady , saw the lovely Fireworks show over at Epcot Center & went to a cute little winery over at Lakeridge on a rainy day.

Hope you like it!

Until next post,

I'll follow the sun

Sometimes I found myself in the people I see.

In those moments that I first dream, and then live.

Between the shadows and light of  life.

While I breath, I will find myself in the light,

While I live, I'll  follow the sun.

Living the 70's

I've been wanting wide leg pants for a very long time.
In a recent trip I made to Forever 21, I was very excited because not only did  I discovered them, they were only $23 USD.  Because of them being the statement piece of my outfit (which I used to celebrate my boyfriend bestfriend's birthday), I wanted to keep it simple with the accessories. So I paired it with a gray crop top, layered silver necklace and feather hair extension, making this outfit a cool 70's / boho look!

Hope you readers love it as much as I do!

Enjoy the photos,

xoxo

Pen Partners

I wasn’t going to post anything today, but I just wanted to stop by
and thank YĆ©sica Isabel for her mention of my blog on her blog Hilo Rojo.

Please clik here and visit  --> "Desde que le conocĆ"

If you understand Spanish, please stop by! It's just amazing (one of my favorites)
She is one of the most special human beings I know! We met each other once
upon a time in Mexico City, we had seen each other only one time after
that (by coincidence), but we've been friends / pen partners ever since!!

She's Genuine, humble, talented and beautiful!!

A day in the life: One Ordinary Day

On a rainy afternoon of September, I found myself
wondering (with my camera on hand) on how simple,
but yet beautiful one ordinary day can be.

Purple and pinks hues at 6:30 PM

Teardrops from the sky.

Shadow of me.

Write a little.

Read a little.

Sometimes the smallest things brings a smile to your face.
In my case, is a dog and his name is Mylow.

Enjoy the pictures,  xoxo
